The Chamber Ambassadors are a vital arm of the Chamber and help promote the Chamber in the community in addition to assisting with member retention efforts. The Kingman Area Chamber Ambassadors provide member support services to chamber members, assist staff, host the Annual Hollywood & Wine event, conduct ribbon cuttings, and serve as greeters at events.
The Business & Government Committee explores and addresses issues of importance to Chamber members and the business community at large. Goals: 1. Sponsor candidate forums in election years. 2. Invite state and local representatives to attend our meetings and explain legislative issues, keeping us informed of county and city issues 3. Continue to publish and build our legislative agenda to share with our legislators and members 4. Actively maintain a joint relationship with Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City as well as other Mohave County chambers via the Mohave County Chambers Coalition
The Workforce Development Committee focuses on programs that will help improve the local workforce to support Kingman businesses. Additionally, the committee works with local educational institutions to reach the future workforce. Each year, the Workforce Development Committee works with Kingman Unified School District and over 70 volunteers to conduct the Reality Store, which is a program for all KUSD eighth grade students to learn about personal finance.
